Web Search Setup Guide
Search the web in real time from any Oskuo conversation. No credentials required.
Prerequisites
Web Search is a built-in connector — there is nothing to install or configure. It is available to all Oskuo users on any plan.
Connecting Web Search to Oskuo
- 1 Web Search is enabled by default. No connection step is needed.
- 2 To confirm it is active, open Settings → Connectors and verify Web Search shows as enabled.
- 3 Start a conversation and ask Oskuo to search for something — it will automatically invoke the search tool when needed.

Good to know
- info Search results come from Google's index, so very recent events (last few minutes) may not appear yet
- info Paywalled articles and private databases are not accessible — you will get the publicly available snippet
- info Each plan includes a weekly search allowance that resets every Monday at midnight UTC
- info Results are automatically localised to your country for more relevant answers
Keeping things secure
- lock Your search queries are sent securely over encrypted connections and are not shared with third parties
- lock Search history stays within your Oskuo conversation — it is never used for advertising or tracking
- lock No personal accounts or API keys are needed — Oskuo handles everything on your behalf
Troubleshooting
Oskuo is not searching even when I ask it to
Check that Web Search is enabled under Settings → Connectors. Also confirm your account plan includes web searches for the current week.
I have hit my weekly search limit
Usage resets every Monday at midnight UTC. Upgrade to a Plus plan for significantly higher weekly search allowances.
Search results appear outdated
Results are fetched live from the web. If a topic is very recent, the search index may not yet have indexed it — try rephrasing the query to improve relevance.
