Location Setup Guide
Give Oskuo approximate location awareness for location-sensitive tasks. No credentials required.
Prerequisites
Location is a built-in connector — there is nothing to install or configure. It is available to all Oskuo users on any plan.
Connecting Location to Oskuo
- 1 Location is enabled by default. No connection step is needed.
- 2 To confirm it is active, open Settings → Connectors and verify Location shows as enabled.
- 3 Ask a location-aware question — Oskuo will look up approximate location from IP geolocation when relevant to your task.
What you can do

Try it out
Here are some things you can ask Oskuo to do:

Good to know
- info Location is estimated from your IP address, so it is typically accurate to city level but not street level
- info If you are using a VPN, the location may reflect the VPN server's position rather than your actual one
- info You can always override the detected location by specifying a city or region in your message
- info There are no usage limits — location lookups are always available on every plan
Keeping things secure
- lock Only an approximate location (city and country) is detected — your exact address is never known or stored
- lock Location data stays within your conversation and is not used for tracking or advertising
- lock No GPS or device location permissions are requested — the estimate comes from IP geolocation only
Troubleshooting
The location returned is incorrect
Location is derived from IP geolocation, which is approximate. For precise location, specify your city or region directly in your message.
Oskuo is not using location context
Check that the Location connector is enabled under Settings → Connectors. You can also always provide your location explicitly in your message for reliable results.
I want Oskuo to use a different location
Simply state the location you want in your message — for example "give me results for Manchester, UK" — and Oskuo will use that instead.

Location is fully managed by Oskuo. No external account or configuration is required.
