IP Address Setup Guide
Let Oskuo look up your public IP address when needed. No credentials required.
Prerequisites
IP Address is a built-in connector — there is nothing to install or configure. It is available to all Oskuo users on any plan.
Connecting IP Address to Oskuo
- 1 IP Address is enabled by default. No connection step is needed.
- 2 To confirm it is active, open Settings → Connectors and verify IP Address shows as enabled.
- 3 Ask Oskuo for your IP address or use it indirectly in network-related tasks — it will look it up automatically when relevant.
What you can do

Try it out
Here are some things you can ask Oskuo to do:

Good to know
- info The IP address returned is the Oskuo server's outbound IP, not your personal device or home network IP
- info If you need your own IP, visit a service like ifconfig.me and share the result in your conversation
- info There are no usage limits — IP lookups are always available on every plan
Keeping things secure
- lock The connector returns the server's IP, not your personal IP — your home address is never exposed
- lock IP information stays within your conversation and is not logged or shared externally
- lock No external accounts or credentials are needed — the lookup is handled entirely by Oskuo
Troubleshooting
The IP returned is not my home or office IP
The connector returns the IP of the Oskuo gateway server, not your personal device. To share your own IP, look it up at a service such as ifconfig.me and share the result in your conversation.
Oskuo is not using the IP connector
Check that the IP Address connector is enabled under Settings → Connectors.
I need a different IP for testing purposes
You can manually provide any IP address in your message. Oskuo will use the value you supply rather than performing a lookup.
