Fetch Page Setup Guide
Give Oskuo the full text of any public web page simply by sharing a URL. No credentials required.
Prerequisites
Fetch Page is a built-in connector — there is nothing to install or configure. It is available to all Oskuo users on any plan.
Connecting Fetch Page to Oskuo
- 1 Fetch Page is enabled by default. No connection step is needed.
- 2 To confirm it is active, open Settings → Connectors and verify Fetch Page shows as enabled.
- 3 Paste or share a URL in your conversation and ask Oskuo to read it — Oskuo will fetch and analyse the page content automatically.
What you can do
- check_circle Read and summarise any public article or blog post by URL
- check_circle Extract structured data from product pages, listings, or tables
- check_circle Compare multiple pages side by side in a single conversation
- check_circle Follow up web search results with deeper reading of specific pages
Try it out
Here are some things you can ask Oskuo to do:
- chat_bubble "Read this article and give me a summary: https://example.com/article"
- chat_bubble "Fetch this product page and compare it with the one I shared earlier"
- chat_bubble "Read the documentation at this URL and explain how their API works"
- chat_bubble "Pull the key points from this blog post: https://example.com/post"
Good to know
- info Pages behind logins or paywalls cannot be accessed — only publicly available content is fetched
- info Heavily JavaScript-based pages (single-page apps) may not render fully, as only the raw HTML is retrieved
- info Each plan includes a weekly page fetch allowance that resets every Monday at midnight UTC
- info Page content is converted to clean text, so images and interactive elements within the page are not included
Keeping things secure
- lock Oskuo only fetches pages you explicitly ask it to — it never browses on its own
- lock Fetched content stays within your conversation and is not stored or shared elsewhere
- lock No cookies, credentials, or personal browsing data are sent when fetching a page
- lock All requests are made over secure, encrypted connections
Troubleshooting
Oskuo says it cannot access the page
Some pages block automated access or require a login. Try fetching a cached or alternative version of the content, or paste the text directly into your conversation.
I have hit my weekly page fetch limit
Usage resets every Monday at midnight UTC. Upgrade to a Plus plan for significantly higher weekly fetch allowances.
The fetched content looks incomplete or garbled
Pages with heavy JavaScript rendering may not extract cleanly. If the content is critical, copy and paste the text manually into the conversation for reliable results.
