Google Docs Setup Guide

Prerequisites

• check_circle A Google account with access to Google Docs
• check_circle An active Oskuo account on any plan
• info This integration is in beta while we complete Google app verification. To get access, email support@oskuo.com.

Connecting Google Docs to Oskuo

1. 1 Open Settings → Connectors in Oskuo and find the Google Docs connector.
2. 2 Click Connect to start the Google OAuth flow. You will be redirected to Google to sign in.
3. 3 Review the requested Docs permissions and click Allow. Once authorised, Google Docs will show as Connected.

Available tools

• check_circle Read document — retrieve the full text content of any Google Doc you have access to
• check_circle Create or edit document — create new docs, append content, and apply batch text operations (insert, replace, delete)

Here are some things you can ask Oskuo to do:

Good to know

• info Oskuo can read and edit any Google Doc you have access to. Changes will show as made by you.
• info Oskuo cannot add images, drawings, or embedded objects to a Google Doc yet.
• info Comments and suggestions within the document are not accessible — Oskuo works with the document body text only.
• info Changing sharing settings or document permissions is not supported. You will need to do that in Google Docs directly.
• info Very long documents may be truncated when reading. Ask Oskuo to focus on a specific section for best results.

Keeping things secure

• lock Oskuo connects using Google's official sign-in flow. Your Google password is never shared with Oskuo.
• lock Oskuo can read and edit any doc you have access to, but cannot access documents shared only with other accounts.
• lock Your credentials are encrypted with AES-256 and stored securely. They are never visible to other team members.
• lock All document access and edits are logged in your team's audit trail for full transparency.
• lock Revoke access anytime in Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with access.
