Understanding Usage Limits
Learn how Oskuo tracks usage across messages, searches, and more, and what happens when you approach your weekly limits.
How usage works
Oskuo tracks your usage across five dimensions. Each resets automatically every week on Monday at midnight UTC.
Weekly limits by plan
| Dimension | Starter | Plus |
|---|---|---|
| Input tokens (messages you send) | 1,000,000 | 7,500,000 |
| Output tokens (responses) | 100,000 | 1,000,000 |
| Web searches | 50 | 500 |
| Page fetches | 100 | 1,000 |
| Audio transcription | 5 minutes | 60 minutes |
| Image generations | 10 | 100 |
What are tokens?
- info Tokens are how AI models measure text. Roughly 1 token equals 0.75 words.
- info A typical message uses a few hundred tokens. Longer conversations use more because the AI reads the full conversation history.
- info Input tokens count your messages and conversation context. Output tokens count Oskuo's responses.
Warnings and limits
- info When you reach 80% of any dimension, you'll see a warning banner in the app.
- info At 100%, that dimension is paused until the weekly reset. Other dimensions remain available.
- info For example, if you run out of web searches, you can still chat and use all other features normally.
Checking your usage
Your current usage is visible in Settings. The weekly reset time is shown there too.
